Parsing files with air dates?

Postby jnewman33 » Tue Feb 23, 2010 9:27 pm

Hey all,

Just started using TheRenamer and am very impressed. Everything is working great with the exception of a few programs that are downloaded with air dates instead of season episode format.

For me these are daily shows like The Colbert Report and The Daily Show. Sometimes they download with SxEx but mostly with YYYY.MM.DD.

Im going to guess that this is a feature request but thought I might ask if anyone has seen/solved this type of problem before.

Thanks for the great program,

James

I am working on Absolute Numbers for theTVDB, it will be the same system for Air Dates.

http://thetvdb.com/?tab=seasonall&id=71256&lid=7

See below sorting options: Aired Order | DVD Order | Absolute Order

Not so soon, I need to fix the CD123 that was broken in 5.6, and convert GZIP to 7zip for it to work on Windows x64

Hang on!

Hi alfred,

Nice work and getting better and better very fast.

I would like to have the "Airdate ID" as part of the renamed file, for example:

Damages 03x12 - blablabla (2010-03-24).avi

I use to watch "old" series and it is nice to see when was the airdate release. Also I like to watch "recent" (1 month ago) daily shows as Colbert and having the Airdate helps me to know how far I am in the past and if it is time to delete some episodes to keep pace.

Regards,
carmatana

hmm, not that it can't be done, but I'll have to see if it's a popular request.
Hope you understand.
