Nope, in The Daily Show it renamed from S17E37 (2012-01-03) to S17E46 (2012-01-18) and The Colbert Report S08E37 (2012-01-03) to S08E48 (2012-01-23) and all of the new episodes of The Soup.

Also, it says in the change logs that 7.55 was the version that fixed the 2012 AirDates. I'm updating to 7.56 to see if that fixes it tho.

Updating to 7.56 didn't fix it for me :( here's the new log (same as the old log)

I tried it again when I got home and had the same error, but then an episode of The Daily Show downloaded and the automation I have set up thru EventGhost ran a background fetch process and they both processed! Unfortunately, the only log I have shows this:

I just tried the file (The.Colbert.Report.2012-01-24.avi), and it's working.
Your log also seems fine.
Probably just bad data at that time. Try again.

I just found out that theRenamer supports date-based filenames (woo-hoo!) and I've set up The Daily Show with the correct ID code (71256) and "Yr" checked.

However, I still get the "Episode Data Missing" error, even after upgrading to 7.56.

Could be that episode really didn't exist at that time, or something went wrong when I grabbed their XML data. (server/cached data....)

I just tried and it works. Got renamed to The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.S17E059.Arne Duncan.avi

Try it now and see.

Yes, that appears to be the case -- I just tried renaming the file again, and got the correct filename. Weird that the API XML that you were pulling down was different than the public-facing site. When you were talking about caching, did you mean on theTVDB API side, or on theRenamer's side?

I have seen other people reporting airdates issue, which later on was fine when I tried.
So I can't really track the cause of it. I'm only guessing the cause right now.

ive come across the same problem, ive added the Daily Show and Colbert Report to the Database and checked airdate, Colbert Report episodes work fine, but for some reason TDS dosent:

Having exactly the same problem here using 7.58. As far as I can make it - it stopped working around the beginning of June for some reason. I just removed therenamer, removed all settigs including the registry settings, reinstalled - and it's still happening.

I have the show set up using air dates in the settings.
