Tested on XP/Vista/Win7.

During first launch, it may give Errors loading some files.
Right click on theRenamer.exe or shortcut and 'Run As Administrator', there's NO need to do this every time you launch it.
Just do it once. It should load fine after that.

Next time you wish to launch theRenamer, just double click on it.

* Make sure you have installed the Flash Player through IE browser.
* Setting Compatibality Mode never works for me.

Hope it helps.

attempting to run on server 2008R2 (this is functionally windows 7--uses same drivers and everything) but it just pauses with the hourglass, then nothing happens. I tried running it as administrator too.

I'm trying to get this to run on my Windows Home Server which is Server 2003 based for automation purposes. I have the latest version installed. Also, I have the latest flash installed. I disabled IE enhanced security and Reset IE to defaults. I have also tried with my AV disabled. When i try to run, there is no window that opens. Watching the process, I can see it start and then it goes away. No popup errors displayed. Application log has the following:

I am also having a similar issue... I'm running windows 7, and it wont start for me. I have tried reinstalling, running as admin, and running in compatibility mode. Nothing works. I get a wait icon and then nothing... Any ideas?

Can you try re-installing Flash Player from IE browser?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled flash, through IE... Still same result. This is very odd? Is it compatible with the 64 bit OS?

I'm having the same issue as rain316. Running Windows 7 64-bit. It works just fine on my Windows 7 32-bit box. Just getting the wait icon for about 5 seconds then nothing. If you need any more information please let me know.

edit: Also used Adobe's clean uninstall tool to totally get flash off the computer then reinstalled the newest non-beta version from their site.

Win 64bit is not officially supported. Simply because I don't have a 64bit box to test on.
And Win64 is "supposed" to run 32bit apps too.
There's reports in this forum that it works, and some say it doesn't.

Sorry, you have to check with other 64bit users.
