Alfred,

I have set "sfv" files to be ignored and deleted in global settings, and in Movie setting I have entered "sfv" files to be deleted. This is not happening and in fact "TheRenamer" is seeing these files as rar files. Anything I can do to change this behavior?

Thanks,
Mark

sfv is related to .rar, that's why I considered .sfv as rar
A checksum thing to verify if the .rar is corrupted or not.

Not that I know much about .sfv, but here's a quote I found:
"the only purpose of an SFV file is to tell you which file of the archive is bad"

So what does that mean? I understand that it may be related to rar files, but can't we get the option to delete the sfv files anyway. I am pretty sure that most if not all of the users run TheRenamer after their file has been par'd and rar'd, so those files wouldn't matter anyway. To me they are garbage and keep me from deleting empty folders. Come to think of it, could we also get the option to enter "rar" files in the delete box and get any leftover rar files deleted as well?
I really only care about the "sfv" files though.

Thanks,
Mark

you're right. I'll remove checking sfv extension.
If users want to keep sfv, they can add it to ignore list.

Not sure about rar and r00..r01 files.
People who use automated tools to auto extract .rar, can u also set it to auto delete rar and r00.. r01 files after extracting?

Rar is a bit sensitive, it's common, and it's sort-of the actual video file.

Thank you Alfred!
Appreciate being able to delete the "sfv" files. Love this program. It does what I had 2 or 3 other programs doing in the past.

Thanks,
Mark
