I recently upgraded to build 7.44. Now whenever I rename my files, it moves the files to the destination as expected, but it also clears out any files/folders in the source directory. Is there a setting I'm missing or is this a bug?

Were the folders empty?
Other Files/Folders as in not even related to the movie files? Scary!

Can u give an example?
Also state what your Fetch Folder is.

Sorry, after testing a bit more I can give a better description. Basically I have a folder with 1 TV show in it. I run the TV show through therenamer and it moves the TV show to the directory that I specified in the settings. That works great. But then it also deletes the now empty folder that the TV show was originally contained in. I don't really want it to do that, I just want it to move the file that it renamed.

Arhh. YES. It can be annoying.

I did add removing empty folders in TV mode.
It will delete empty folders IF it is not the TV Fetch folder.

I did this for this reason:
c:\Desperate Housewives.S04E15.DIVX\Desperate Housewives.S04E15.DIVX.avi
Once the .avi is moved, it is empty and should be removed.

I guess this is your case:
c:\This is not the fetch folder\Desperate Housewives.S04E15.DIVX.avi
Once the file is moved, it will remove c:\This is not the fetch folder since it is empty.
(It will not remove fetch folder even when it is empty)

I have to see how to make it smarter. Since there will be cases when u do want to remove empty folder.

So I guess I could just throw a text file into that directory and it should leave it alone.

Perhaps a checkbox for that in the settings would work.

Awesome app by the way. It has really helped in organizing all of my TV shows.

You can put a text file without a season/episode format, that would end up as an invalid file, and will not be deleted.

Name your txt file like "LEAVEFOLDERALONE.abc", and make sure u type something in this txt file.
Empty txt with 0 bytes is considered... empty.

With extension .abc, DO NOT put this extension in your Ignore Files (Global Settings). Just in case you have Delete ON for ignore files.

I'm thinking Settings is not good too, because sometimes you get files which are inside a folder, sometimes not. Would be hassle to toggle settings all the time.
Have to think of better way.
