Multiple paths

There's a reason why it's called a wish list....but post it anyways

Multiple paths

Postby kingfenix » Fri Jul 09, 2010 2:27 pm

I would like the ability to setup multiple source/destination folder paths for shows, and assign them on a per show basis. Each show should default to the main paths, so its not necessary to set all of them, but would be nice to then set kids/cartoon shows for example to be moved into the Kids folder in my media center, instead of my new episodes folder that my shows go into.

Thanks,

Doug

hmm, how about setting parameters for theRenamer.exe?
Eg: theRenamer.exe -af="c:\kids"

This will launch theRenamer using archive folder "C:\kids"

You probably need to drag specific shows to rename (the kids shows).
I know it's not the best, but trying not to add anymore settings. Looks too overwhelming for newbies.

I can understand as a programmer, but it would simplify the use of the program, I tend to just hit the paw to fetch and move files. Would be nice if it could know where to put which show.

Also a second request, would be nice to be able to right click a folder in windows explorer and sent to theRenamer

I get what you mean, but currently there isn't a way to assign which show goes to where.
I'm upgrading the current version to have proper support for Vista/Win7. Hopefully this will fix those Drag&Drop, UAC or 64bit issues.
So can't add new stuff at the moment.

Right click in explorer is also out of my reach, sorry.
