Some of the files that i have downloaded include invalid creation and/or last modified dates (blank or a year such as 2098). This messes with show files when I try to sort them as "Most Recent"

Could you add an option to "fix" the creation and last modified date of a show when it is being renamed/moved.

Thanks,

Almost amazed when I see this program rename and distribute a bunch of files across my media folders. Such a great program which I have recommend to a number of people.

Yes,
File Name=
Doctor Who 2005 612 - Closing Time HDTV XviD-FoV.avi
Last Modified Date=
1/1/2098

Original Airdate (looked it up) = 2011-09-24

Not sure if this was how it was downloaded or if it was modified by Sickbeard but it is obviously not the correct date. (I know Doctor Who deals with time travel but still...)

Oh, so you mean the modified date is wrong before it was renamed.
Meaning when you got the file, it was already wrong.

I'll see if I can set date/time after renaming

Alfred,

Do you have any update on this? I just noticed that Top Gear files are downloaded with a 1/1/2098 date...

Thanks!

Forgotten about it. I'll look into it now.

Found a DOS command, see if it works for you:
Open your command prompt. Navigate to your show folder. Type this:
COPY *.* /B + ,, /Y

Should change (all files in that folder) the Date Modified to the current clock time.

Not sure if I'll set it as a feature, don't think it's common files are set with that strange date.

Yes, that commands works (pretty cool), but I really would like to see it set to the original air date so that it will sort correctly with all the other episodes. Ideal would be an option to do this if the year is outside a range (in the future or before ccyy) but just an on/off would be wonderful.

This would be a neat feature. You could easily search based on the year of a movie if you feel like watching a "golden oldie"
