Hey there Alfred,

Awesome program, just wondering if anyone else is using epguides.com, and if anyone uses this site (epguides) as their bible, I know I do and they are pretty awesome.
They do predictive episodeing and the file names are very well set out and easy to understand.

Also, to anyone using this program, therenamer, i encourage you all to donate as I have. It doesnt have to be much but every bit helps encourage the development of this program.

Regards

Rick

With your donations, I'll add it without a second thought :)

I already have theTVDB supported, and was about to release the next version.
Looks like I'll add epguides first before releasing now.

But there's 1 thing I'd like to point out.

What makes theRenamer unique is to be able to 'guess' accurately the shows dragged, making renameing very easy. You don't need to do much.
Original filenames do come with some junk text or sometimes even speilling errors or use AKA names.

IMDB & TV.com will be the best for theRenamer/Google to guess these names.

Shows like:
HIMYM, SVU,TTSCC ... all can be matched automatically to
How I met your mother, Law & Order Special Victims Unit, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Same for spelling errors in the showname, it's usually not a problem for Google to hunt down the correct show.

This is mainly because IMDB & TV.com sites allow user comments to talk about the show/episodes. Making Google's relavency search match better.

I've tested and noticed theTVDB will have more failed searches, thus u need to add the IDCode in theTVDB database manually.
Same will probably apply for epguides.com
