Hi,

Cant tell if anyone has requested this yet (apparently quality is too common a word).
I use a program that tells me when new shows are coming out and it automatically looks to see if there are download links for the show. It also has the ability to look at my current shows and checks if there are ones out there that are better quality. The problem is that is checks the file name for the quality.
Currently TheRenamer doesn't have the option to include the quality of a file in the renaming process (as far as I can see).

Could this be implemented (or pointed out)?

e.g:
Fringe.S01E13.720p.HDTV.x264-CTU,mkv
Becomes
Fringe.S01E13.720p.HDTV."episode title".mkv

Castle.S03E21.720p.WEB.DL.DD5.1.H.264-NFHD.mkv
Becomes
Castle.S03E21.720p.WEB-DL."episode title".mkv

Fringe.S02E01.720p.BluRay.DD5.1.x264-CtrlHD.mkv
Becomes
Fringe.S02E01.720p.BluRay."episode title".mkv
etc.

As far as I can see there are only 5 types and 4 formats:
320p
480p
720p
1080p

SDTV
SDDVD
HDTV
WEB-DL
BLURAY

thanks,

Gumby

It's in 7.5
Under Global Settings, Keep Original Filename and setup some word filters.

I've just made some tweaks to this feature.
You would be able to add the filter words to Movie Folder in next build 7.51.

Is it possible to allow more than one filter word processed in the "Keep Original File name" feature.

Ie. The file name is: "The.Bourne.Identity.2002.720p.Bluray.x264.AC3-UNiT3D.mkv"

And lookup list is:
Quote:
"1080p" "720p" "Bluray" "DvdRip" "AC3" "m-720p" "m720p" "AAC" "m-HD" "BDRip" "BrRip" "m-576p" "900p" "576p" "480p"

Which would return:
Quote:
"Bourne Identity, The (2002 7.8) (720p.Bluray.AC3).mkv"

At the moment I have left the "Keep Original File name" ticked but with the list Blank. So that it returns:

Quote:
"Bourne Identity, The (2002 7.8) (2002.720p.Bluray.x264.AC3-UNiT3D).mkv"

I'm thinking of always adding ALL matching filters words as Default.
Any objections?
